This is a very good thing. Have you read through the PROPOSED UN treaty on climate change? I Read bits and some are rather scary.here: http://unfccc.int/resource/docs/2009/awglca7/eng/1 ...Section 41 was what caught my eye flipping through this document. If I understood it correctly, it would allow the a UN panel to asses taxes on private business at their discretion in regards to pollution. And something like .7% of GDP from all participating countries would go into a fund to be given to un/underdeveloped countries, with a clause to allow for a "progressive" rate to be applied to countries with higher historic carbon emissions. (The numbers are from memory so if they are a little off I apologize)I wonder what else is in the proposed treaty?

I do not miss dial up at all, remember when you were downloading music from kazza, a few 4mb mp3s took forever on dailup, and then your mom or dad tried to use the phone, and you got yelled at for using the internet, remember when the dial up would just quit on you while you were downloading these mp3s, I got so mad, it took forever to download just a few mp3s. Then I got cable internet from WOW, it was before youtube launched, my oh my was I thrilled, after many, many months of begging, I finally convinced my parents to get cable internet, after I went to a friends house and discovered he had cable internet, and I could not believe the speeds, and being able to use the internet and the phone at the same time was something I could not believe. The day I got my cable internet was probably the best day of my life. My parents liked being able to use a phone while I was using the internet. How things have changed in such a few short years.!
